The Ojai Foundation land sanctuary sits on 40 acres of semi-wilderness at the foot of the Los Padres mountains, in the expansive and sparsely populated Upper Ojai Valley. For nearly four decades, it has inspired, transformed, and nurtured all who visit. Guided by the deep rooted principles of sustainable land stewardship, heartfelt community living, regenerative and ecological design, the Beauty Way and living council, our offerings foster rich connections with nature while strengthening group cohesion and fostering self-understanding.

For those who would like to go deeper into the practices and traditions of The Ojai Foundation and our land sanctuary, we offer public events, days of service, work exchange, and more. Council trainings happen throughout the year at our location, considered by many to be the birthplace of council.  Click here for a list of scheduled council trainings.

Our staff can work with you and your organization to design a TOF facilitated program. These include corporate retreats, nature-based "rites of passage" experiences from 1-5 days, or ropes adventure programs in our beautiful oak forest setting.
